AR Systems Ltd designs, installs and maintains fire and security systems across Scotland, supporting main contractors, local authorities, housing providers, facilities management companies and commercial organisations. Every service below is delivered by our own engineers, from survey to certificate.
Fire Safety

Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems for commercial premises, and interlinked alarms for homes and HMOs, designed, installed, commissioned and certified to BS 5839.

Written fire risk assessments for workplaces, HMOs and the common areas of flats, with a prioritised action plan, as required under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005.

Compartmentation surveys and fire stopping of service penetrations, voids and cavities using tested systems, with a photographed record of every seal.

Supply and installation of certificated fire doorsets, inspection programmes for landlords and facilities managers, and remedial work on doors that no longer close, seal or hold.

Emergency lighting for escape routes, open areas and exit signage, designed and installed to BS 5266 with monthly and annual testing under contract.
Security

Wired, wireless and app-based intruder alarm systems specified to EN 50131 and installed to meet your insurer’s requirements, for businesses and homes.

IP and HD-analogue camera systems with evidence-quality recording, remote viewing on your phone and full-colour night vision, set up to comply with the GDPR.

Keypad, fob, card and biometric entry systems, door entry and intercoms, with real-time monitoring and full entry logs for offices and multi-tenant buildings.

Swing and sliding gate automation, car park barriers and rising bollards, installed with the safety devices required by BS EN 12453 and force-tested at handover.
Electrical & Data

Commercial electrical installation, testing and inspection, including dedicated supplies and containment for fire, security and data systems, with certificates to BS 7671.

Structured copper and fibre cabling, cabinets and patch panels, tested and certified with as-built documentation, for networks, IP CCTV and access control.
